When the winter suites have melted back into the river in the spring, a part of the hotel still stands, our permanent part of ICEHOTEL called ICEHOTEL 365, open 365 days a year. The hotel exists between December and Mid April, and is accessible by car, taxi, or shuttle service from Kiruna airport. The Icehotel site can be visited all year round, including a guided tour of Visit ICE HOTEL from Abisko. From ice sculptures to an ice chapel, we head over to the ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi and spend a couple of hours exploring it. The hotel is made from ice and snow and features many sculptures and other artworks made by artists from all over the world. We drive from Abisko alongside Lake Torneträsk eastwards to Kiruna, enjoying the different scenery in that direction. Celebrating 30 years of Icehotel, the coolest hotel in the world.
